Recommended Use:
Brewing Instructions - Hot or Iced
Use 1/4 to 1/2 the quantity normally used for a strong cup of gourmet coffee!
Settling may have occurred during shipment.
Shake or stir contents before using to thoroughly blend the herbs.
Add 1-2 teaspoons of mix per 8 oz cup of hot water. Boil the combination for 1-2 min. Steep until drinkable (or simmer the herbs on a burner without boiling for 20+ min.)
Coffeemaker: A 10 cup coffee pot takes 2-4 tablespoons (Placed into the glass container). A 12 cup coffee pot takes 3-4 tablespoons (placed into the glass container). (Use less for a light cup, brew longer for a richer cup.)
Place mix into the glass container, no filter. Steep 30-60 min. (even up to 8 hrs). Stir to blend the flavors (the sweet flavors tend to hang out on the bottom of the pot), then strain into your cup.
To prevent spoilage during a continual brew, remember to discard the mix every 16 hrs. and refresh the pot for the next brew. Otherwise, refrigerate the brew overnight and warm, or boil briefly, the next morning.
French Press: A 4 cup press takes 2-3 tablespoons of mix. Boil the herbs first, then press.
Ice Cold SumaRaj: Use 1/2 the water to brew then add ice; or brew hot then refrigerate until cold.
Additional Info & FAQs: Suma (also known as Brazilian Ginseng) is South America's most rejuvenating herb. Suma means "para todo" (for all things) and among those who have experienced the herb's benefits, Suma is used as a foundation for most healing programs. The herb contains a significant amount of germanium which may explain in part the herb's exceptional rejuvenating powers.
*Raj means King in Ayurvedic terminology and is frequently added to the name of their most rejuvenating herbs or formulas (Bringraj, Yogaraj Guggul, etc.)
